Finished another large canvas for Jet Asphalt offices, where my husband worked for 49 years. This is a Shuttle Buggy material transfer vehicle. It is designed to “shuttle” between the hot mix asphalt haul truck and paver machine. It allows non-stop paving, which leads to a much smoother surface. I have watched the process of these huge vehicles joined together and moving down the road in unison while a truck is dumping hot asphalt mix into the bin on one end. There are many men moving in and around the machines in well coordinated movements to facilitate the smoothing of the over 200 degree asphalt onto your roads. It is a Sight to Behold as all these parts work in synchronization - "Moving Down the Road of Progress"
